CDC Event Planning

Specifically, HHC works with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Their mission is to promote the health and quality of life of people by preventing and controlling disease, injury and disability; and to protect Americans both domestic and abroad, by shielding them from health threats via international prevention, detection and response networks. CNI supported this mission by providing coordination, planning, and logistical support for the 14 day Center for the 2018 Center for Global Health (CGH) Annual Meeting; allowing over 1300 CDC global and U.S. based staff to engage, focus, and innovate, and make a strong impact in saving lives around the world.

CNI utilized a structured process for event planning to optimize the overall quality of this meeting, benefiting our customers and event attendees by securing conference and training site; providing logistics and registration support; procuring equipment, A/V, and printed materials; coordinating lodging logistics; and developing a technical solution for efficient online registration and reporting. This event support continues CNI’s history of engagement with CDC experts in science, epidemiology, surveillance, informatics, technology and laboratory systems that has proven essential to providing strong global health leadership.

A seasoned leader in both industry and Federal Government, J. Eduardo Marques has more than 20 years of experience in the areas of corporate administration, business development, and program/project management. He was a co-founder of a successful small business, A+ Government Solutions.  He led the integration of A+ into a wholly owned subsidiary of Chickasaw Nation Industries (CNI).  Eduardo served for five years as an IT Project Manager in the Office of the Secretary at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

Ann T. Speyer
President of Health and Technology Solutions

A seasoned leader, change agent and valued business partner, Ann Speyer has more than 35 years of experience in both industry and Federal Government.  She served for nearly 10 years in the Senior Executive Service (SES) for both the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Smithsonian Institution as Chief Information Officer (CIO). Prior to her Federal service, Ann held positions leading program management and consulting services with PeopleSoft, Gelco, Andersen Consulting, and KPMG Peat Marwick.

 

Takisha L Schulterbrandt
Executive Vice President

Chickasaw Nation Industries (CNI) has named Takisha Schulterbrandt, Executive Vice President of CNI’s Civil Sector, the company’s federal health and IT segment supporting customers across HHS and other federal civilian departments and operating divisions.  Dr. Schulterbrandt is a healthcare, business strategy, and information technology (IT) executive with 15+ years’ experience supporting federal clients including HHS, CMS and FDA. She has a history of success in Federal Healthcare business development, strategic planning, operations and delivery including P&L, staff development and business process transformation.
